MARIA WAKEFIELD

My enjoyment and enthusiasm for fitness started at a young age.  I grew up as a competitive athlete, so it’s probably no coincidence that I chose fitness for my career.  I began teaching classes in 1995 while working in the corporate world.  I soon came to realize that when I was moving, I felt the most like myself.  I decided to pursue fitness full time and started Studio 4 Fitness in 2004. I am blessed to do what I love with people that I love, making my work an absolute pleasure. 

My background ranges from certifications in Pilates to Personal Training, which gives me a balanced approach and allows me to be creative and to provide my clients with the variety and modifications that they crave. I am very intuitive and my clients often comment on the manner in which I am able to create an individualized program to meet their specific needs.  I strive to create a welcoming environment for all fitness levels where everyone is able to find that mind-body connection, thus elevating their sense of wellbeing.

Whether you come in for an hour on the Pilates Reformer or choose to challenge yourself with a 30 minute interval full body sweat session, you’ll find that no two sessions or workouts are ever the same.
